The National w/ Owen Pallett
The National formed in 1999, when five friends who relocated from Cincinnati, Ohio to New York for work began making demo recordings to blow off steam on weekends. They are two sets of brothers Aaron Dessner (guitars, bass, piano) and Bryce Dessner (guitar, piano), brothers Scott Devendorf (guitar; bass) and Bryan Devendorf (drums) and Matt Berninger (vocals). All of the family relations going on in this band make for killer music. Their latest release "High Violet" has gotten more press attention than anything else so far this year.
We expect this to be a mighty strong turn out, especially with Owen Pallett of Final Fantasy opening the show. Get your tickets in advance.
